Tasks

The Site Agent - Structures will lead the structural works on a major construction project within the operational airport environment. The role involves managing the delivery of structural elements, ensuring quality, safety, and programme compliance, while coordinating with multiple stakeholders in a live airport setting. -Maintain and report cost -Report progress, risks, and issues to the Construction Manager and Project Manager. -Ensure compliance as temporary works coordinator -Ensure compliance with airport safety regulations, project-specific safety plans, and statutory requirements. -Ensure works are sequenced to minimize disruption to airport operations and comply with security protocols. -Ensure management of works to budget -Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of works. -Oversee daily site activities, ensuring alignment with project plans, specifications, and safety protocols. -Lead the execution of structural works, including concrete, steel, and precast elements. -Liaise with airport operations teams to manage access, logistics, and operational constraints. -Ensure all structural works meet design specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. -Conduct inspections and quality checks, and manage non-conformance reports (NCRs). -Maintain accurate records of site activities, inspections, and progress. -Manage and mentor site engineers, foremen, and other site staff. -Develop and maintain detailed work programmes, short-term lookaheads, and resource plans. -Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on site. -Ensure Site performance and Cost control -Keep temporary works register -Maintain and report production performance -Collaborate with design, planning, and commercial teams to resolve technical and programme challenges. -Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and incident investigations.

What You Bring

Understand the design and construction methodologies that relate to the project’s structures. -Minimum 8 years of experience in structural construction, with at least 3 years in a senior site role. -Proven experience in airport or high-security infrastructure projects is highly desirable. -Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline. -Attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. -Valid Safe Pass and relevant certifications (e.g., CSCS, Manual Handling, Temporary Works Coordinator). -Legal right to work in the Republic of Ireland -Strong knowledge of structural construction methods, temporary works, and sequencing. -Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD). -Good leadership, motivational and people management skills -Membership of a related professional body e.g. Chartered Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), -Willingness to complete a 5-year background screening as part of the hiring process -Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Software packages: Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook. -Knowledge of the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 -Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
