Assist in SHEQ compliance, safety, environmental and quality management on infrastructure projects.

Tasks
-Health and Safety: Promote a positive health and safety culture across all projects. Support investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses, and contribute to developing corrective actions. Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and safety briefings to teams on-site. -Quality Assurance: Help ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and client requirements. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by analysing SHEQ performance data and trends -Training and Development: Work closely with the SHEQ team to develop and deliver training programs for employees and contractors. Stay updated on industry best practices, legislative changes, and emerging SHEQ technologies. -SHEQ Compliance and Monitoring: Assist in ensuring all operations comply with SHEQ regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Conduct site inspections and audits to identify potential risks and ensure safety protocols are followed. Support in preparing and maintaining documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and incident reports. -Environmental Management: Assist in monitoring and mitigating environmental impacts of projects. Support sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with environmental legislation.

What You Bring
-Awareness of construction safety regulations and best practices. -Knowledge of ISO standards (e.g., ISO 45001, 14001, 9001). -Strong understanding of SHEQ principles and their application in construction or infrastructure projects. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. -Relevant internships, placements, or project experience in a similar field. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. -Familiarity with renewable energy or water sector operations. -Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
