The Role
Overview
Perform X‑Ray NDT inspections on aerospace and industrial products to ensure quality compliance.

Tasks
-Interpret engineering drawings and NDT requirements to ensure proper application of X-Ray techniques. -Ensuring proper calibration, maintenance, and availability of X-Ray equipment and materials. -Keep accurate logs of daily production activities and other required documentation. -Follow established procedures and part specific techniques. -Serves as a resource for X-Ray related issues, providing technical guidance to NDT apprentices, inspectors, engineers and other personnel. -Participate in Corrective Action processes, including containment plans, root cause analysis, corrective countermeasures, and providing objective evidence for verification / closure. -Provide technical guidance and support -Maintain documentation and records, ensuring accurate up-to-date records of X-Ray activities. -Participate in process improvement initiatives. -Ensure compliance with industry standards (AS9100, AS13100, FAA, NADCAP) and customer requirements. -Interpret specifications and blueprints. -Ensure that all X-Ray processes and procedures adhere to relevant standards and customer-specific requirements. -Demonstrate the ability to make sound decisions on how to inspect, process and disposition aerospace components as applicable parts. -Successfully perform calibrations, tests, and evaluations with NDT equipment. -Manage and maintain equipment and materials.

What You Bring
-Experience with continuous improvement (CI) tools. -Previous aerospace inspection experience. -Experience with quality standards including AS9145, AS9100D, ISO9001 or equivalent. -Experience in Radiography with demonstrated knowledge and experience in all aspects of X-Ray, including techniques, equipment and procedures. -Familiarity with NAS 410 / ASTM / PWA specifications. -High School Diploma or equivalent -Computed Radiography Testing (CR) Level 2 NAS-410 qualifications are required. (RT qualifications are acceptable) -Ability to learn and gain knowledge of AS9100D, AS13100, ISO9001, ASTM and NAS-410 standards. -Basic math skills, analytical skills. -2+ years inspection in a manufacturing environment, aerospace experience is a plus. -Must meet ITAR definition of US Person – Documentation required.
