The P6 Scheduler will provide critical scheduling support using CPM project schedules in P6 (Primavera). This position will also be instrumental in establishing P6 scheduling capabilities for Murray Company, including processes, templates, standards, etc.
- Assist the scheduling team in reporting projects as necessary.
- Perform QA/QC on contractors' schedule submittals for conformance with contract scope and terms.
- Assist in planning and developing detailed engineering and construction baseline schedules for a wide range of construction projects, including cost loading and CPM scheduling.
- Evaluate, perform resource analysis, perform critical path analysis, and prepare reports.
- Develop, manpower load, monitor, control and update the project schedule using Primavera software to ensure the project is optimally executed.
- Assist Project Manager with schedule updates while coordinating input from Field Supervision and other stakeholders.
- Assist in Analyzing schedules for flow, changes, and provide layouts and reports.
- Perform QA/QC on P6 schedules and validates logic ties to ensure conformance.
- Perform Critical Path and Earned Value analyses.

Location: Cypress, CA with anticipated travel to designated project sites in and around the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area.
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Ability to travel locally to project sites within the Southern California region.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in scheduling and Primavera P6.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience developing resource loaded CPM project schedules in P6 (Primavera).
- Requires hearing ability to communicate in noisy environments.
- Must have sufficient to read printed and digital documents.
- Must be able to recognize alarms, signals, and verbal instructions.
- Intermediate competency cost control, preferred.
- Ability to grasp, handle, and manipulate small objects.
- Exceptional communication skills with others at all levels of the organization.
- Must be able to climb ladders, access and egress trenches and/or attic spaces and/or confined spaces.

$85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
