The Role

Overview

Track and report contractor manpower, materials, and equipment on construction sites.

Tasks

-Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly manpower and equipment reports in Excel and other prescribed formats. -Performing other related duties as required to assist project supervision and reporting activities. -Identifying and reporting discrepancies or shortfalls in manpower or equipment deployment to the supervision team. -Maintaining organized filing systems for attendance sheets, equipment records, and related documentation (both digital and hard copies). -Conducting daily site visits to record and verify contractor manpower, materials, and equipment in operation as per the approved schedules. -Reviewing and validating contractor-submitted time sheets and equipment logs to ensure accuracy. -Supporting the supervision team in monitoring resource productivity and site progress based on verified data. -Coordinating with site engineers, contractor representatives, and supervision staff to confirm daily records. -Maintaining detailed daily logs of labor attendance and equipment utilization at each site. -Preparing summary charts, graphs, and performance indicators showing trends in manpower and equipment utilization.

What You Bring

-Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. -Familiarity with construction industry standards and best practices. -Typically, 1–2 years of relevant experience in timekeeping, manpower tracking, or a similar field within a construction or consultancy environment. -Flexibility to work in different shifts following the contractor’s program. -Basic knowledge of project management tools or software is a plus. -Ability to work efficiently in both office and site environments. -Experience in preparing detailed reports, charts, and graphs for management review. -Knowledge of document control systems and archiving practices. -Good understanding of construction site activities and resource tracking procedures. -Strong verbal and written communication skills. -Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. -Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in manpower and equipment records. -Excellent organizational and time management abilities. -High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or diploma in administration, construction management, or related field is preferred. -Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. -Familiarity with construction project workflows and resource allocation processes.
