Tasks

-Support the effective deployment of company-wide policies, processes, systems and procedures ensuring that at all times the business remains compliant. -Optimisation of disposal routes for radioactive wastes and conventional wastes, including permitted discharges.

What You Bring

-A degree (minimum 2:2) or equivalent in relevant discipline OR hold or be working towards a professional qualification in relevant area. -To hold or willing to work towards Radioactive Waste Advisor status. -Significant Experience working on Nuclear Licensed Sites in the areas of Radioactive Waste and Environmental Management is desirable. -Characterisation of materials and items. (It is therefore desirable to have an understanding of the Nuclear Industry Guides and the processes and statistical methods described).
