The Role

Overview

Conduct land/topographic surveys and produce reports for infrastructure projects.

Tasks

-Maintain and calibrate survey equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results. -Conduct construction surveys to ensure proper alignment of infrastructure elements according to design specifications. -Conduct land and topographic surveys for infrastructure works, utilizing survey instruments to measure and record land features, contours, and infrastructure elements. -Perform boundary surveys to establish accurate property lines and legal boundaries, ensuring compliance with local land use regulations. -Ensure quality control and accuracy in all survey work, adhering to industry standards, codes, and specifications. -Analyze survey data and produce detailed reports, drawings, and maps that accurately represent the site's topography, boundaries, and features. -Communicate survey progress, results, and issues to project stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns. -Perform as-built surveys to document final locations and elevations of constructed infrastructure, preparing and updating drawings as needed. -Coordinate with the project team, including engineers, architects, and contractors, to ensure survey data is incorporated into design plans and construction schedules. -Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations while conducting survey activities on-site. -Manage and organize survey data, using specialized software to process, analyze, and present information in a clear and usable format.

What You Bring

-Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience) -Proficiency in operating survey instruments, including Total Station, GPS, and laser scanning equipment -Minimum of 4 years of experience in land surveying, preferably in the UAE
