Junior Estimator

Overview

Junior estimator role supporting pricing/tendering for carpentry/fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities

• cost estimation
• drawing review
• takeoffs
• boq preparation
• tender reporting
• client liaison

Tasks

-Assist with pricing and tendering across carpentry, joinery, and fit-out projects -Review drawings, prepare take-offs, and compile bills of quantities -Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate costings -Attend client meetings and occasional site visits -Contribute to progress meetings and tender reports -Support senior estimators and develop towards managing tenders independently

-Experience as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor -Strong Excel and measurement skills -Confident reading and interpreting drawings -Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
