Prepare and manage technical specifications and contract documents for projects

Tasks

-Prepare bid sheet and measurement and payment section of specifications -Write technical specifications in compliance with project requirements, acceptable standards and existing laws, rules and regulations and codes -Assist with legal and 'front end' specification, including but not limited to general conditions, supplementary general conditions, and any other necessary and related documents -Maintain master specification sections for use on corporate level, and modify these standard sections as construction industry changes -Prepare design development and contract documents specifications for technical projects while ensuring compatibility with drawings and/or technical conditions

What You Bring

-A minimum of 5 years experience working with specifications -Have significant breadth of knowledge with ability to recommend materials, procedures and technical specifications requirements and contents, and to oversee production of completed documents and specifications -Experience with Microsoft Office -Familiarity with Federal UFGS Specifications and SpecsIntact software -Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or combination of education and relevant experience -Knowledge in the ability to recommend materials, procedures, and technical specifications requirements and contents
