Tasks

-Individual(s) will be responsible for loading, unloading & transporting office equipment/furniture & dispositioning items to locations in the National Capital region. -Moves and arranges heavy pieces of office and household furniture, equipment, and appliances. -Breaks down and sets up furniture items based on customer needs. -Carefully and efficiently packs items to prevent damage while moving. -Provides exceptional customer service while safely moving, packing, and unpacking customer belongings. -Organizes items being moved to efficiently utilize available space while loading and unloading vehicles.

What You Bring

-Must be able to stand, sit, reach, bend and walk for long periods of time. -Must have no criminal history. -Must have a minimum of a HS or GED. -Must be 18 years or older. -Must be a US Citizen with ability to pass a thorough background and credit check to be able to obtain and maintain a minimum of a Public Trust security clearance. -Must have access to reliable transportation. -Must be able to lift and carry 80 pounds or more repeatedly throughout the day. -Must demonstrate reliability and punctuality. -Must be willing to work in all types of weather.
