Tasks

This position involves managing around 5 engineers and leading project delivery on smaller projects while being involved and taking a hot seat in the tendering and bid process to win your team the larger pipeline of work. You will have experience working in a tier 2 or tier 1 civil contractor in NZ at Project Management level and ideally have worked your way up from being a Site Engineer! -Ensure jobs are carried out to job specifications, company policies and relevant legislation, codes and regulations.

What You Bring

My tier one client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team winning projects and delivering civil and three waters projects that sit around the 5 - 15 million dollar mark. -You are experienced in roading, earthworks, water, utilities & more. -Minimum 5 years' experience in managing the delivery of projects in the Civil Construction industry in NZ. (no visa sponsorship) -Strong financial and commercial management knowledge. -Familiar with NZS 3910, Construction Contracts Act, NEC Contracts. -Competent users of CCS Candy, Word, Excel and Project. -Strong industry relationships and connections. -You have great leadership skills with subcontractor and suppliers. -Solid experience with job pricing including materials, labour and plant and associated margin / profit calculations. -Full and clean class 1 driver's licence. -Hold a Bachelor of civil Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
