Troubleshoot and maintain low‑voltage electrical systems, wiring, and diagnostics for equipment.

Tasks
-Follow prescribed safety regulations / guidelines -Detect and report defective materials, faulty operation, and unusual conditions to immediate Supervisor -Work independently on wiring and programming engines and power pack systems -Return leftover parts back to Warehouse -Chase parts and fill in necessary paperwork -Trouble-shoot low voltage systems utilizing wiring schematics, computer software, and diagnostic equipment. -Train new hires -Complete appropriate paperwork for rejected parts -Running conduit, pull wire, and make electrical connections in a professional manner using wiring diagrams and/or electrical schematics -Document and diagram wiring when needed (example: Prototype units) -Trouble-shoot electrical to electronic interfaces -Handles equipment such as multi meters. Improper use of equipment or failure to correct wiring faults may cause heavy damage. -Work with Engineering and Vendors on new wiring requirements for Prototype units and systems

What You Bring
-Required to read, write and comprehend English -Moderate physical demand in handling and connecting some wires. May be required to lift up to 30 lbs. Work also involves climbing up to 4 - 6 feet using ladders and crawling underneath rigs. -Knowledge of all electrical components and their ideal operation -Extensive knowledge of troubleshooting principles and application -Must have training in reading electrical schematics -12 to 18 Months -HS Diploma or GED required -Be able to work with Programmable Motion Control cards (PCM cards) -Use and comprehend specifications, electrical schematics -ECM programming -Two years minimum in low-voltage electrician role
