Overview

Responsible for cleaning resident areas, laundry, and maintaining hygiene standards.

Tasks

-Cleans public areas and resident’s apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios & windows, floors, furniture and common areas -Performs all housekeeping duties including: -Uses equipment and materials properly -Disinfects and sterilizes equipment and supplies -Reports potentially unsafe conditions or maintenance related issues promptly to Supervisor -dusting furniture and equipment -Washing and drying resident laundry in provided appliances -sweeping and scrubbing floors; vacuuming rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture -Observes safety and security procedures -Empties wastebaskets, and transports trash and waste to disposal area -cleaning public restrooms and replenishing supplies as needed -Maintains resident laundry areas including mopping floors and washing walls regularly -distributing laundered articles and linens -folding and/or hanging laundry appropriately -washing walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills -Ensures with maintenance that trash and dumpster areas are clean -Stocks cleaning cart with supplies -polishing metalwork -Connect and help residents transition from home to community through thoughtful engagement at every level of interaction -Washes windows at reasonable heights throughout the community as requested -Keeps utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition
