Tasks
-Identify and mitigate risks associated with contractual obligations and project delivery; -Interface with senior management team to meet overall program deliverables; -Manages and provides support to the contracts management team to ensure that they meet the Project objectives by establishing contracts and securing materials, equipment and related services on time and within budget, in an ethical manner at all times, in accordance with procedures; -Executing the processes in accordance with the procedures to anticipate, where possible to mitigate, handle and advise on all aspects of contractual claims; -Manages the monitoring and reporting of contracts administration performance by Consultants, Construction Supervisors and Contractors to ensure fulfilment of their obligations & -Establishing procedures for award and administration of Project contracts; -Assists in the development of the contracts and procurement strategy, standards, policies, procedures, and best practices; -Management of all aspects of contractual claims arising from the execution of contracts as part of the programme management consultant’s role on a major programme of infrastructure development works in an ethical manner at all times, in accordance with procedures; -Management of the contractual aspects of executing the programme management consultant’s role on a major programme of mixed use development and infrastructure works; -Leads and directs all contractual aspects of executing the programme management consultant’s role on a major programme of infrastructure development works; -Provide expert advice on contractual matters, including risk management and dispute resolution; -Respond to project-related letters of a contractual nature, ensuring timely and accurate communication. -Directs the contracts team to ensure that they meet the Project objectives by establishing contracts and securing materials, equipment and related services on time and within budget, in an ethical manner at all times, in accordance with procedures; -Interface with other teams to meet overall program deliverables, including for review of claims; -Review all incoming and outgoing project-related letters to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions;

What You Bring
-Minimum overall relevant experience 22 years. -Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities -Strong customer focus -Excellent report writing and communication skills -Strong interpersonal and communication skills -Team player with the ability to work independently when required -Strong ethical standards and professional integrity -Minimum relevant experience 8 years in the role -A solid understanding of construction contracts and relevant regulations is essential to ensure compliance and mitigate risks; -Sound knowledge of all commercial aspects of major developments and infrastructure projects including iconic structures, roads, bridges, and utilities -Attention to detail and strong organizational skills -Proven track record of managing complex contracts and resolving disputes -Experience of major projects in the Middle East, Arabic speaking advantageous. -Precision is key in reviewing and drafting contractual notices to ensure all terms are accurate and enforceable; -Experienced user of MS Office and contract management software -HSE Awareness -Professional memberships and charterships required MRICS or equivalent -Minimum Regional Experience 5 years -BSc Quantity Surveying, construction management, engineering, architecture or appropriate equivalent
