Tasks

-Perform the Preliminary Inspection upon arrival of an aircraft at the facility prior to the commencement of maintenance or inspection. -Inspect all flight control systems maintenance -Research aircraft drawings and technical data -Provide data to customers as requested -Ensure all paperwork is complete and complies with engineering specifications, manufacturers maintenance manual, and Repair Station/Quality Control Manual prior to end-of-shift -Inspect aircraft maintenance, repairs and alterations performed by Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to ensure the corrective action was completed -Assist other inspectors in the performance of their duties within area(s) of qualification -Update Maintenance Manuals with revisions as required -Inspect engine installation and provide “Installation OK” -Weigh aircraft using the pre-weight checklist -Adhere to General Work Requirements -Inspect fuel panels, final floorboard installation, final nose cowl closing, final aft fuselage closing, and final circuit breaker panel installation and provide “OK to Install” -Adhere to General Work Requirements as required in coordination with Quality leadership -Initiate RED’s and RFE’s as required -Train, coach and mentor employees in the performance of duties in area(s) of qualification -Perform conformity inspections of engineering documents to most current design per assigned aircraft. -Perform service inspections of aircraft or components in accordance with applicable parts of chapter 14 CFR (FARs) and the manufacturer’s maintenance manual -Perform hidden damage inspection

What You Bring

-Candidate must be authorized and elegible to work in the Unite States for any employer -You have working knowledge of business aircraft maintenance, preventative maintenance, rebuilding, and alteration as related to inspection buy-off -You typically have 1 year aircraft maintenance experience with business jet aircraft - preferred -You have working knowledge of business aircraft inspection programs, for example, final close out procedures, engine installations, and in-process inspections -You have working knowledge of Repair Station/Quality Control Manual -You have 2 to 3 years' inspection experience - preferred -You have basic knowledge of SAP -You have the ability to read and interpret engineering documents and maintenance manuals -You have an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license or appropriately rated Repairman Certificate. -You typically have 5 years' aircraft maintenance experience
