Overview

Lead construction projects, advising owners on budget, schedule, scope, quality.

Tasks

-Manage a project team comprised of project controls, schedulers, estimators, clerk of the works as well as subject matter experts -Coordinate and lead designer, contractor and 3rd party procurement efforts -Lead teams in the review of design documents, constructability reviews, and value engineering studies. -Communicate project progress with clients; advise of needed project decisions and assist is overall project strategy. -Lead multiple project meetings, document minutes and follow up on open items -Advise and consult to Owners on their overall buildings project from conception through closeout with a focus on budget, schedule, scope and quality. -Review and advise on project change orders and assess impact of change requests or delays on the project schedule and budget -Provide technical evaluations, advice, and guidance -Maintain master project budgets, develop cash flows and advise Owner on Estimate at Completion (EAC)

What You Bring

-Knowledge of Compass and/or Astro Project Management software would be considered a plus. -CT DOT Project experience is desired but not necessary -Minimum of 10 yrs experience in Building Construction -Has a valid license and would be willing to commute to projects across Eastern and Central CT -Candidate must have a degree from an accredited college in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field -Ability to Pass a background check with the Dept. of Corrections (DOC) -Must be a Certified Construction manager (CCM) or have a Professional Engineer (PE) License in the State of CT. -Resides in or around Central Ct (Hartford Area)
