The Role

Overview

Assist in commercial management of water/environment infrastructure projects.

Tasks

-Streamlining and enhancing operational workflows; -Support budget tracking, payment valuations, and cost forecasting -Work with Project Managers on payment certification and defined cost analysis -Proactively engaging with markets and suppliers; -Maintain commercial records and assist with resolving contractual queries -Monitor costs, assist with variation assessments and claims -Assist in preparing and evaluating tender documentation -Contribute to final account preparation and post-project reviews -Support contract administration and ensure compliance with terms -Contribute to feasibility studies and cost planning -Help identify risks and support mitigation planning -Developing a premier capability and team; -Assist in administering NEC3/4 ECC contracts (Options A, C & E) on the client side

What You Bring

-Right to work in the UK; role subject to client interview and acceptance -Progress toward RICS Chartership or equivalent professional development -Familiarity with CDM regulations and risk management -Exposure to ECI/ESI in design & build programmes is desirable -Willingness to work on-site a minimum of 4 days per week -Valid CSCS card; Water Hygiene Card beneficial -Degree in Quantity Surveying (Bachelor’s or Master’s) -NEC3/4 contract expertise (Options A, C, E essential) -Experience or interest in water, environment, defence, or nuclear sectors
