Overview

Manage project document control for engineering projects in Abu Dhabi.

Tasks

-Comply with the Company Records Management for Controlled and non-Controlled documents. -Support the use of document “team working areas” for uncontrolled documents and sharing. -Maintain the Doc Control Systems -Perform training and mentoring whenever required -Maintain paper and electronic document flow within project team, and from / to contractors or vendors -Undertake transactional activities, project filing, archiving and handover preparation -Deliver project document control against project procedures for internal and external design, vendor documents, and project correspondence -Prepare document performance reports (status, progress and forecast) -Support the external document control contractors (e.g. bulk loading, document reclassification)

What You Bring

-Bachelor of Science/Engineering degree from an accredited College or University -Excellent communication skill and ability to read, write and speak fluent English -Multi-discipline skill set -15 years of experience through multiple function and project assignments in engineering, construction, and project management and controls activities, or comparable project related experience in other functions/companies. -Strong leadership, influencing and interpersonal skills -Strong organizational, coordination, planning, and interface skills -Good knowledge of engineering, fabrication, construction, planning, resource allocation, Contract management and administrative functions. -Prior experience of working with EPC Contractors / Operating Company / Engineering consultants -Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities -Good understanding of Project management elements and standards including Contract terms and conditions -Computer Literate i.e. proficient in ACONEX and Microsoft Office suite of software program
