Manage procurement activities for projects, handling contracts, negotiations, and budgets.

Tasks

-Purchases assigned equipment, construction, and service contracts for projects following established policies and procedures. -Collaborates to resolve complex claims or other contract issues. -Assists in project setup of procurement related activities. -Ensures contract documents are issued correctly and on schedule. -May develop, create and lead presentations to internal and external client and joint venture partners. -May also lead and coordinate the entire budgetary pricing effort on a project or projects. -Leads negotiations for assigned procurements and/or construction contracts. -Does not have management responsibility for the professionals to whom they provide work direction. -Monitors project procurement activities and reports status. -Assists with the establishment and/or monitoring of procurement goals. -Executes and manages the procurement process on assigned contracts including bid list preparation, solicitation of quotes, and evaluating, negotiating and awarding of contracts. -Assists with the development and monitoring of project budgets and schedules (man-hours, cost, procurement milestone durations). -May be responsible for soliciting budgetary pricing for equipment, material, or labor to support estimating/proposal efforts for a project or projects. -Files appropriate documents and follows filing rules.

Willing to relocate. -Strong Attention to Detail. -Strong Computer Skills - Databases and MS Office. -Proficient Analytics - Creation and Interpretation. -Proficient Budget Development and Management -Years of relevant experience can substitute for a degree. -Proficient Project Process Management. -Proficient Presentation Skills. -BA or BS degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Technical / Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred. -Strong Contract Comprehension. -Strong Data Entry. -Strong Organizational Skills. -Proficient Mathematics. -Proficient Schedule and Planning Understanding. -Strong Problem Solving. -Basic Workflow and Team Management.
