Manage land survey projects, budgets, staff, and client coordination.

Tasks
-Will assist the Department Head in preparing proposals, estimates, presentations, employee evaluations, and the recruiting process. -Coordinates with office staff and clients as required. -Create and manage project budgets, schedules and resource allocation -Participate in pre-survey planning meetings with project managers, resident engineers, and contractor representatives. -Adheres to local, state, and federal survey regulations as well as Accura Engineering procedures.

What You Bring
-Bachelor’s Degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field from an accredited program or a scientific area and/or equivalent work experience preferred. Will accept two year degree plus experience. -SIT or LS required -Experience with GIS platforms is desirable -Experience with Robotic Total Stations, GPS (including post processing). -Must have project management experience -8+ years of experience in land surveying -Working knowledge of GDOT SUE process desirable -A demonstrated record of success on ALTA, route/database, boundaries, topographical, inventories, and other types of surveys -107 Remote Pilot’s Certification a plus -SIT license -Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable -LiDAR collection and software experience (TopoDOT and Pix4D) a plus -Proficiency in CAD, Least Squares Reduction and other Survey Software -Must be Professional Land Surveyor in Georgia, other states licenses are desirable -10+ years of experience managing survey projects of varying sizes and complexity. -Experienced with GDOT MicroStation/Open Roads Design (ORD) desirable -Experience with scanners, drones, and other emerging technologies is desirable -Should be registered in Georgia or the ability to become registered within a year as a Land Surveyor. -Advanced knowledge and experience with AutoCAD and Carlson -Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) experience required
