Water Skilled Laborer

Overview

Assist crew with installing and repairing water lines and pipe joints.

Tasks

-Keep tools in complete working order. -Utilize equipment after the Operator digs the ditch line for water mains. -Ensure every joint meets quality standards. -Manage inventory on the truck. -Safely operate equipment, such as rubber-tired backhoe, skid steer loader, directional drill, trencher, asphalt paving machine, etc. -Teach other employees how to join pipe to the correct specs. -Locate utilities by hand with a shovel and probe. -Support crew with handling and joining water pipe.

Requirements

• driver's license
• 2+ years
• water groundman
• pipe fitting
• high school

What You Bring

-Valid driver's license is required. -2 or more years of water groundman experience. -1 year of water groundman experience. -Fit pipe that is ditched or drilled in the ground. -High school diploma, or equivalent.
