Tasks

-Design and perform server and security audits, system backup procedures, and other recovery processes in accordance with the company’s disaster recovery and business continuity strategies. -Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems. -Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions. -Design and deploy new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems. -Work with executive team members, decision makers, and stakeholders to define business requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve business systems issues. -Identify and learn appropriate software applications used and supported by the organization. -Apply diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting. -Communicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, development teams, end users, and unit leaders. -Ensure compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems. -Coordinate with department heads to assess departmental application training needs and objectives. -Provide support for the testing of new and existing software applications under development or consideration for purchase. -Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems. -Record, track, and document the problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution. -Participate in the design, development, and delivery of software applications training programs and individual classes. -Gauge the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems; develop and implement strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems

-Highly self-motivated and directed. -Verification of Work Authorization and Employment Eligibility -Very strong customer service orientation. -Physical Exam (if applicable) -Able to develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end user procedures. -Knowledge of trends in technology relating to software applications. -Broad knowledge of programming languages and techniques, including SQL/NoSQL. -Background Checks for Badging/Security Clearances (if applicable) -Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentational skills. -Preferred experience with SAP and SuccessFactors. -Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques. -In-depth, hands-on knowledge of and experience with enterprise and desktop applications, including Microsoft office, CRM systems, HR systems, various financial systems. -Experience with building and maintaining databases for query and problem tracking. -Ability to conduct research into software development and delivery concepts, as well as technical application issues. -Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly. -College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems, and/or 7+ years equivalent work experience. -Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language. -Experience having built/maintained software. -Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. -Good analytical and problem-solving abilities. -Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
