Tasks

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager to join our team within Vistry Cotswolds, at our Chippenham site (SN15 1JB). As our Assistant Site Manager, you will assist the Site Manager in ensuring site compliance with health and safety, coordinating subcontractors and materials, and maintaining construction quality. Support site operations, inspections, snagging, and customer-facing activities to ensure a safe and efficient build process. -Ensure compliance with construction methods, health and safety regulations, and company policies, supporting the site manager in corrective actions and risk management. -Provide support in customer-facing activities, including home demonstrations, service visits, and addressing customer queries and issues. -Monitor and ensure adherence to health and safety practices, accident reporting, and environmental policies. -Coordinate with utility companies, trades, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials and services. -Attend and support weekly site meetings, promoting communication, standards, and safety. -Assisting in the management of all aspects of the build process -Maintain site presentation, secure necessary documentation, and manage site inductions for all personnel. -Oversee and maintain quality control, including inspections, snagging, and ensuring quality standards for trades and materials.

What You Bring

-Qualified to the required CIOB Grade applicable at the time in accordance with group policy -Valid CITB SEATS certificate -Valid LOLER certificate -Valid SMSTS Certificate -Up to date knowledge of Health and Safety, and environmental obligations and building legislation -Experience working on new build projects -Valid First Aid at Work Certificate -Valid Scaffold Inspection certificate -Experience in the management of Health and Safety -NVQ Level 3, 4 or 5 in Building Construction or similar -Conversation / presentational skills in the sense of a customer facing role -Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Project and Asta Team plan
