Lead field survey ops, ensure accuracy/quality for infrastructure projects in South Central US

Tasks

-Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -Maintain accurate and legible field notes. -Implementing the project survey plan specific to field operations. -Oversee the operation with periodic reviews of record keeping, field procedures and survey audits to ensure that all work is performed in an efficient and professional manner. -Setting and maintenance of control network. -Performing layout -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.

-Self-starter with the ability to set standards of excellence in leadership, safety, quality and productivity -Work productively and meet deadlines timely -Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment. -Must be able to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry to perform calculations (area, volume, circumference, proportion, percentage) -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Dynamic thinker with the desire to lead, motivate and mentor teams -Strong work ethic with the ability to work individually and as a team -Regular, reliable attendance -5+ years' experience in Construction Survey, Dimensional Control, Industrial Measurement, or a related field is required -Trimble experience is a plus
