Tasks

-Provide building code and zoning bylaw research and support -Prepare architectural presentation documents -Prepare contract documents in collaboration with the design studio -Research building science, sustainable design and design solutions related to project work -Collaborate with Project Architect through the development of design concepts

What You Bring

-Self-motivated individual capable of assuming increasing responsibility for both current and future projects with an interest in growing with the fir -Strong working knowledge of current versions of Revit, AutoCAD, 3D Max, Sketch-up, CorelDraw, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office Suite -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Registration with AAA, or other provincial governing body, or currently working towards qualifying for registration -Ability to multi-task and coordinate efforts on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment -Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program -Knowledge of the Alberta Building Codes, building systems and materials -You get the importance of paying attention to detail without losing sight of the big picture -Demonstrated strong skills in creative design solutions, innovation, and research -You combine your creativity with practically minded solutions that will consider each specific need for design
