Tasks

-Prepare and record journal entries, reconciliations, and analyses accurately and timely in accordance with GAAP. -Maintain schedules for prepaid and lease assets, ensuring accurate amortization and timely recognition of related expenses. -Assist with system enhancements, integrations, and user acceptance testing for accounting systems. -Collaborate with other accounting teams and departments to address data requests and ensure consistent accounting practices. -Support capital project tracking and timely capitalization of completed assets. -Maintain the lease accounting subledger, prepare and post monthly entries for ROU assets and lease liabilities, and ensure ASC 842 compliance. -Record additions, disposals, and depreciation of fixed assets while maintaining accurate subledger and reconciliation schedules. -Prepare audit-ready documentation and provide support for both internal and external audits. -Manage accounts payable and prepaid asset transactions, ensuring proper coding, support, and expense recognition. -Support internal control execution and monitoring activities. -Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations, investigating and resolving reconciling items promptly. -Analyze general ledger balances and variances to ensure financial accuracy. -Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes across AP, lease, fixed asset, and prepaid functions.

What You Bring

-Self-motivated, dependable, and adaptable team player committed to continuous improvement. -Effective written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization. -Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP. -Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required. -Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail. -Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. -Attendance is generally required from 8:30 am – 5:30 pm local time, Tuesday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. -3+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in accounts payable, prepaid assets, lease accounting, and/or fixed assets. -Courtesy, respect, and thoughtfulness in teaming with colleagues and other stakeholders. -Ability to show ownership of your work, take on challenges and acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processes. -Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. -Public accounting experience and/or CPA (or CPA eligibility) strongly preferred. -Experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system preferred; familiarity with Coupa and lease management software a plus.
