Overview
Implement and manage AMI solutions for clients, ensuring technical integration.

Tasks
-Provides functional and operational enhancement recommendations into the New Product Introduction (NPI) process based on client feedback -Directs & executes network rebalancing/optimization plans -Troubleshoots network and software performance problems and proposes remedy options -Works with customer requirements to propose technical solutions -Works closely with the Field Engineers to resolve complex issues relation to wireless communications and integrated software applications -Ensures network equipment meets customer technical specifications -Acts as liaison between Customer Operations Center, corporate development resources, and local project team to resolve technical issues -Establishes and monitors system performance reporting, recognizing adverse trends and taking necessary preventative and corrective actions -Investigates system failures, registration failures, and interactive read failures in system deployments -Performs customer system integration planning and implementation -Represents Company in a positive, professional manner when working with both internal and external customers. -Directs & implements new firmware, Device Control Word (DCW), and software releases with customer programs -Supports creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for technical elements of the system that are effective and repeatable Directs and executes system upgrades including the network with new software releases -Ensures network and software configurations meet customer technical requirements -Supports and adheres to Company’s Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy. -Acts as primary technical resource that collaborates with the client throughout a deployment project and partners with a customer to develop requirements and propose technical solutions

What You Bring
-Accustomed to working in an environment driven by high standards for service and system delivery. -Bachelor of Science degree required. (Advanced degree desired). -Utility operations experience is a plus -Experience in working with solutions involving both software and hardware -Personal Protection Equipment/Other OHSAS-18001 Safety Requirements: Ensure the continued efforts and assist in achieving annual goals of health, safety, and environmental policies. Must be current with available OSHA/Safety Training provided by the Company. If required, must be able to work while wearing safety equipment such as hard hats, work boats, gloves, hearing protection, and others. -Physical Requirements: Typical office setting. Required to stand; walk; crouch; or handle objects. Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Ability to sit and view computer screen for long periods of time. The ability to see, hear, & speak in English. Reasonable accommodations provided for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. -Highly adaptable in a dynamic work environment -Experience with UNIX Sun Solaris required (vi, crontab, shell scripting, process monitoring, Perl) a plus. -Experience with managing cross-functional highly technical project teams. -Uses leadership skills to resolve a wide range of issues in creative and practical ways to satisfy the customer needs. -Experience with Microsoft SQL Server a plus -Requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience. -Ability to plan and maintain schedules. -Broad technical depth in integration and operation of complex systems -Excellent written and oral communication -Excellent team player; self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised -Understanding of programming logic and the ability to troubleshoot systems by following code -Experience in process definition and design to meet overall business objectives. -Ability to travel approximately 75%, including international travel -Excellent customer communications and customer service skills -Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus -Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities -Experience with Oracle 10g required (SQL*Plus, PL/SQL) -Knowledge of complex technical data systems and RF network technologies -Highly adaptable in changing environments -Experience with .NET framework and WebServices required. -Business Process consulting experience a plus -Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for solving problems and obtaining solutions.
