Tasks

-Effectively oversee total project delivery by enabling effective team management and delegation to ensure the efficient and satisfactory delivery of multiple and complex projects, reporting to the Project Director. -Work in an interdisciplinary environment and aim to design buildings that maximise value for our clients whilst minimising their environmental impact. -Provide leadership to the MEP team on a portfolio of projects locally, nationally and internationally, having the responsibility of ensuring correct technical approaches are applied to the project and are carried out appropriately to complete the tasks at hand. -Play a part in the ongoing digital transformation of our business, seeking new ways to increase our efficiency through automation and to offer new services to our clients through our integrated digital approach to design. -Apply your engineering expertise to shape our projects, moving them towards net zero carbon. -Play an active role in all stages of our projects from feasibility through to completion across a range of sectors, specifically in the Data Centre sector.

We are looking for a skilled Principal Electrical Engineer who is excited by the opportunity to lead designs and projects in the Data Centre space. olds Chartered Engineer status via an appropriate professional institution such as IET or CIBSE. -Has demonstrable background in the field of electrical building services design with experience in leading and delivering Data Centre projects. -Has extensive experience of winning and delivering a range of projects & has the ability to provide technical leadership of multidisciplinary design teams including external subconsultants. -Has strong awareness of appropriate sectorspecific legislation, regulatory requirements and design guidance and future trends. -Has knowledge and interest in sustainable building design in terms of both energy and carbon and satisfying associated regulatory requirements. -Is degree qualified in Electrical, Building Services or Architectural Engineering & holds Chartered Engineer status via an appropriate professional institution such as IET or CIBSE. -Be expected to have project management skills and will have remit for the financial performance of the projects including liaising directly with clients on fees and commercial matters.
