The Role

Overview

Install, service, inspect, and troubleshoot security alarm systems for customers.

Tasks

-Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy. -Conduct site surveys upon request of management. -Install security systems or appropriate devices, dismantle and/or reconstruct equipment as required by customer or the Company. -Communicate with customers on job status or completion (installation or service). -Respond to and complete system troubleshooting and repairs. -Conduct testing and inspection of systems under maintenance agreement. -Make connections and required adjustments as directed, test operation of all components of each system. -Submit complete and accurate paperwork in a timely manner. Obtain proper signatures. Accurately record travel and service times, timesheets, identify warranties, changes and code issues and provide accurate descriptions. -Keep manuals and all details up to date as changes are advised. -Write service and status reports. -Report on activities completed, deferred, or requiring further action or material to management.

What You Bring

-Must be able to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. -A high school education or equivalent required. -Must be able to walk and stand. -Some technical school training is a plus. -Ability to always operate fleet vehicle in a safe manner. -Maybe required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. -Experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders. -Comfortable reaching, climbing (ladder/stairs) and bending. -Ability to operate hand and power tools. -Ability to work independently on customer sites -1 year of alarm industry experience required. -Must be able to verbally communicate via telephone.
