Tasks

-Design mine tailings management systems using conventional or innovative technologies for tailings, waste rock and water management infrastructures, including dams, dikes and earthworks -Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams, and work with other professionals to deliver projects -Work on business development with new and existing clients -Participate in developing a business plan for mine waste management services -Participate in the civil, geotechnical and hydrotechnical design of tailings facilities -Prepare and revise construction and work supervision documents for various designed infrastructures -Manage and execute projects, including quality control, and time and budget management -Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, specifications, bills of quantities and cost estimates -Promotion of our experts (SMEs), both externally and internally

What You Bring

-Rigour and ethical -Experience in a consulting firm in the mining sector -Management and leadership skills -Solid communication and soft skills -Advanced level of French and English to collaborate effectively with BBA offices and/or clients outside Québec. The frequency of English use may range from occasional to daily, depending on ongoing projects -Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships -Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical, Mining or Civil Engineering, or equivalent -Vast experience in project management -At least 10 years of engineering work experience -Ability to share and pass on knowledge -Possess the title of engineer and be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
