Tasks

-Lead month-end close and produce accurate, consolidated accounts with confidence. -Own the full finance function — from budgeting and forecasting to cash flow and reporting. -Build powerful financial models to support pricing, tenders, and key commercial deals. -Partner with managers across the business to boost financial performance and accountability. -Keep payroll, accounts payable, and receivable running like clockwork. -Drive cost efficiency, revenue growth, and innovation across the business. -Streamline and optimize processes within our Project Management and Accounting systems. -Lead invoicing and ensure smooth operation of project accounting tools. -Inspire, mentor, and grow a high-performing finance team. -Continuously improve systems, processes, and reporting tools like Power BI, Total Synergy, MYOB, Xero, and Employment Hero. -Bring financial clarity to non-finance stakeholders, translating data into decisions. -Craft balance sheets, P&Ls, and performance reports that tell the real story behind the numbers. -Regular team-building activities, social activities, and team sports. -Oversee preparation of insightful management dashboards and reports. -Maintain compliance with accounting standards, audits, and internal controls.

What You Bring

-Demonstrated experience in M&A (desirable). -Strong background in management reporting and financial leadership. -Ability to balance strategic focus with hands-on execution. -CA/CPA accounting accreditation and Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. -Proven experience managing the full finance function for a business of 100–300 people. -Experience with MS Office, MYOB, Power BI. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to be adaptable, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. -Deliver sharp, actionable insights that drive smarter business decisions. -Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
