Tasks

Participate in the development of cost control procedures and templates. Prepare and maintain project cost control plans and budgets. Manage cost coding and ensure proper allocation of costs to work breakdown structures. Develop cost forecasts and cash flow projections, highlighting deviations. Develop and Issue Key Performance Indicators to evaluate cost code allocation, productivity, resource utilization, project performance. Conduct cost risk analyses and maintain contingency allocations. Evaluate subcontractor and supplier cost . Assist with change management by assessing cost impacts of changes. Track and Monitor actual costs versus budget, analyze variances and identify trends. Monitor CPI, SPI, CV and SV to assess project performance. Provide training to junior cost engineers and contribute to the development of cost control systems. Implement cost control procedures and analyze project costs to ensure alignment with budgets, providing reliable forecasts and supporting decision-making. Analyze committed costs, accruals, and booked cost to identify variances Coordinate with project teams to validate cost data and implement corrective actions.
