The Role

Overview

Perform building maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general systems.

Tasks

-Perform the following building general maintenance tasks as required: minor carpentry, painting, drywall repair, ceiling tiles/grid repair/replacement, wallpaper repair, flooring/base repair, minor concrete repair, etc. -Understand and perform water treatment testing and report findings to supervisor. -Assist with more advanced HVAC, electrical and plumbing work as directed. -Perform repair and replacement of plumbing fixtures, faucets, valves, water heaters, and piping. -Perform or assist with installation replacement or repair of building equipment/systems as directed. -Perform duties in compliance with all applicable codes, regulations and standards of all agencies having jurisdiction. -Perform or assist with preventive maintenance of building equipment/systems as directed. -Comply with Company policies, procedures and directives. -Respond, prioritize, complete, and follow-up on customer service requests per Company policy. Utilize work order system per Company policy. -Respond quickly to emergency situations. -Maintain professionalism at all times with co-workers, contractors and customers. -Coordinate maintenance efforts with contractors and technicians as directed by supervisor. -Maintain all work areas in a clean and safe manner. -Order parts and supplies as required; maintain stock and inventory control. -Perform fire pump(s) and/or emergency generator(s) run tests as required. -Report all known safety hazards, equipment issues and customer concerns. -Inspect buildings and grounds for malfunctioning equipment building issues and unsafe conditions. -Assist team with overall daily operations, maintenance and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance requirements of building. -Perform repair and replacement of electrical receptacles, switches, sensors, lamps, ballasts, and fixtures.
