Take a lead role in developing and securing new business opportunities. Play a key role in achieving overall Water Market sales and bookings goals.
Monitor regional performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed to meet or exceed KPIs.
Responsible for meeting or exceeding performance KPIs including, but not limited to, utilization and project profitability.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing regional team.
Collaborate with Business Development and Marketing to shape go-to-market strategies and major pursuit plans.
Develop and lead growth initiatives at the regional level in alignment with the overall strategic plan.
Contributes to the development of the W/WW and Resilience strategic plan. Translate sector-level strategic plans into actionable regional initiatives.
Support teams in navigating complex technical and regulatory challenges.
Serve as Project Manager on multiple large projects or a portfolio of clients within a defined geography or practice area
Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Monitor backlog, revenue, and margin performance across the region.
Serve as the primary point of contact for key regional clients.
Support the development of the regional budget and business plan in coordination with leadership.
Optimize resource allocation to ensure operational efficiency and project success.
Identify and pursue growth opportunities within the region, including new clients, service lines, and geographic expansion.
Support succession planning and talent acquisition in alignment with sector and firmwide goals.
Represent the firm at local industry events, conferences, and public agency meetings.
Provide oversight and guidance on project execution to ensure quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
Drive consistency in project delivery by leveraging best practices and standardized tools.

Strong understanding of regional market conditions, client needs, and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
P.E. license in California is highly preferred.
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects.
Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management.
Able to work cooperatively with leadership and other key stakeholders within BKF.
Effective analytical ability to create and drive business strategies.
Willingness to travel as needed to support regional offices, project sites, or client engagements.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction or a closely related field is required.
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a combination of water and wastewater design and resilience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven consulting environment.
