Tasks

-Verify function and proper operation of medium voltage powerline carrier equipment, DFRs, and RTUs. -Keep your time, expenses, and company vehicle in top condition. -Be a daily champion of safety and human performance improvement (HPI). -Lead Job Hazard Analyses with your team to ensure a safe and productive work environment. -Support RTU upgrade projects and deliver clear, detailed test reports. -Interpret complex electrical diagrams and flag any discrepancies.

What You Bring

-Commission SEL and GE microprocessor relays with confidence and accuracy. -Proficiency in test software such as, ProTest, or Protection Suite. -Familiarity with test equipment like Doble 6150, Omicron CT Analyzer, Vanguard CT 2000C, and more. -Experience developing commissioning test plans -Strong understanding of NERC PRC-005-6 and safe work practices in high-voltage substations. -4+ years of experience in electrical testing, with a focus on protection and control systems. -Hands-on experience with SEL, GE, ABB, and Westinghouse relays. -Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology preferred
