Tasks

-Fire protection design of building projects throughout the project lifecycle from the conceptual phase, design phase, and construction phase. -Building fire alarm systems -Interfacing with project teams on project design, delivery, and construction. -Building fire suppression systems -Building fire protection systems -Follow Quality Assurance and Quality Control Plans -Be responsible for continuing education and learning based on project needs, as well as overall needs of the team. -Managing project budget and schedule compliance. -Utilizing BIM design software to produce construction drawings -Utilize software based calculation tools for design calculations -Be responsible for time management and product quality -Manage multiple assignments concurrently

What You Bring

-Experience with Autodesk Revit -Knowledge of Federal Agencies design criteria -Experience with AIA MasterSpec -Knowledge of fire protection, suppression, and alarm principles -NICET certification in Fire Protection -Proven experience with fire protection designs, including detailed plans and specifications for building projects -Must have a knowledge base of fire protection engineering principals related to building fire protection designs -Must be proficient with MS Office Suite -5-10 years of building fire protection design and construction experience -Must have strong communication and team collaboration skills
