Overview

Support security & emergency response, develop policies, manage projects, ensure compliance.

Tasks

-Assist in managing projects and personnel -Conduct investigations and prepare incident reports. -Coordinate and participate in drills. -Respond to emergencies and incidents. -Develop and maintain protocols and procedures to protect personnel, assets, and facility. -Provide training to staff and personnel on site and develop training awareness guidance. -Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders. -Provide oversight of service providers supporting security and life-safety infrastructure.

What You Bring

-Knowledge of regulations, laws, and standards applicable to physical security, life-safety, and emergency response -CPR and First Aid Certified -Working knowledge of physical security (visitor management, access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection) and life-safety (fire protection and suppression systems) -Working knowledge for NYS Fire Codes, laws and regulations -Technical knowledge of security and life-safety platforms and infrastructure -Associate degree in related field or High School/GED with minimum of 5 years of security, emergency response or other similar industry experience -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Ability to obtain a government security clearance -New York State Security Officer License -Knowledge of Export Control, C-TPAT, FTZ and DHS requirements -Strong understanding of security principles, life-safety laws, and regulations -Advanced computer skills (proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint) -Ability to work as a team and independently
