Design prefabricated metal enclosures using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

Tasks

-Leads mechanical design projects, mentors junior engineers, and oversees product testing -Support GTI's Engineers and Designers. -Coordinate routing of ductwork, piping and miscellaneous components with other trades. -Assists senior engineers with product design, CAD modeling, and documentation -Create 2D and 3D electronic design plans for prefabricated enclosures. Details of the prefabricated enclosures encompass structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and communication systems including, duct systems, piping systems, mechanical equipment and electrical equipment using AutoCAD and Solid Works computer software. -Manages engineering teams and oversees complex mechanical projects -Designs, develops, and optimizes mechanical components and systems

What You Bring

-Demonstrate the required attendance and punctuality. -Associates degree or equivalent from a vocational training program or technical school -Must be proficient in MS Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook. -Familiar with prefabricated and modular construction methods. -Familiar with sheet metal, metal framing and weldments. -Familiar with ISO shipping container construction methods. -Candidate should have good oral and written communication, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills. -Must have a customer service perspective with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and clients. -The successful candidate should be self-sufficient, have strong computer skills, and be very detail oriented. -Must have the ability to create and modify technical drawings and schematics from engineer markups using Solid Works. Must know the platform Solid Works you will be tested during the interview. -Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering -Proficiency with AutoCAD and BIM/Solid Works is required.
