Tasks

The Commercial Director will oversee the full commercial lifecycle of LEOS projects, from pre-construction through delivery and handover. The role is responsible for cost planning, procurement strategy, contract management, value engineering, and ensuring profitability across all development projects. This position requires a deep understanding of both construction and real estate development environments in the UAE. -Oversee all commercial operations including tendering, cost management, procurement, and contracts administration. -Provide regular reports to senior management on project costs, forecasts, risks, and opportunities. -Collaborate closely with Design, Development, Construction, and Finance teams to achieve commercial alignment. -Drive value engineering initiatives to optimize costs without compromising quality. -Ensure proper management of variations, claims, and change control procedures. -Negotiate and finalize contracts with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure value and compliance. -Implement and maintain commercial governance frameworks, ensuring consistency and cost control. -Lead and develop the commercial strategy across all LEOS development projects. -Lead, mentor, and manage the commercial and quantity surveying teams.

What You Bring

-Strong understanding of UAE construction laws, FIDIC contracts, and commercial frameworks. -Exceptional communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills. -Proven experience in cost control, risk management, and contract negotiation. -Minimum of 10 years of commercial leadership experience within real estate development or large-scale construction projects. -Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive commercial efficiency across departments. -Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering. MBA preferred.
