Tasks

-Develop local junior engineers and design personnel. -Contribute to the development of GHD's knowledge and skills in civil and transport engineering including planning, design, and construction. -Establish and maintain client relationships, identify new project opportunities and win work. -Project manage and be technically responsible for large, high-quality planning and design projects ($3M+ design fee), including multi-disciplinary coordination. -Provide technical expertise to clients and support projects through other offices as required.

What You Bring

-Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) (Preferred) -Knowledge of flood modelling and pavement design and an ability to integrate into civil and transport design preferred. -Strong communication skills both oral and written (including report writing). -The capability to produce concise and accurate reports, technical specifications, design calculations, drafting briefs and mark-ups. -A passion for high-quality design documentation, assessment and analysis of technical data and imparting knowledge, skills, and experience through the provision of professional development in others. -Experience in establishing client relationships and winning work -Experience and a sound understanding of current civil engineering technologies, including design, modelling, and construction. -Ground truth designs throughout the Northern Territory’s extensive remote road network -Bachelor of Engineering (Civil). -Excellent project management skills and ability and willingness to mentor junior engineers. -Demonstrated experience in civil engineering design and the delivery of projects, from small projects to medium sized projects. -Demonstrated professional judgement and commercial acumen, including identifying, assessing, evaluating, and solving problems to brief and budget.
