Tasks

-Provision of support services to the Maintenance Department for completion and recording of routine maintenance activities. -Administer, control and audit all aspects of the sites Safe Systems of Work -Generating internal, regulatory and Customer reports and KPIs. -Monitor and control of Operations Department budget. -As Quality Champion - maintaining and auditing routines, schedules and procedures for all operational aspects of the facility, within a quality framework accreditable to ISO 9001 -Co-ordinate with GE O&M Centre of Excellence (CoE) team, GE Engineering and other O&M support team for the resolution of complex issues relevant to operations. -Ensure compliance with all site Quality Procedures, Work Instructions and EHS Policy and Procedures -Manage and implement GE EHS procedures within area of responsibility. -Operations Manager will work in close coordination with the Plant Manager, Maintenance Manager and EHS Manager while leading plant operation activities at site.

What You Bring

-Good working knowledge of environmental and safety legislation -Proactive, accurate and detail orientated -Batchelors Degree in Engineering from an accredited College or University or equivalent experience -Knowledge of GE systems and structures -Able to write and speak fluently in the English language -Proficiency in MS Office and other IT tools. -Minimum 5 years of experience in the Power Generation industry in a senior supervisory capacity -Excellent communication and people management skills.
