Tasks
-Contribute to a ‘right first time’ quality culture and deliver work compliant with BS EN installation standards. -Conduct regular site surveys in line with project schedules. -Champion safe working practices and ensure all activities are fully documented. -Produce detailed Site Survey Reports, Equipment Layout Drawings, Installation Guides, Rack Face Layouts, Cable Lists, and Label Schedules. -Present your designs to internal and external stakeholders. -Support the Installation Design Manager by managing day-to-day design requests. -Maintain the Installation Standard Library to improve installation quality and support field teams. -Assist field service teams during installation and provide ongoing design support. -Attend project mobilisation launches and review project scopes to understand design requirements. -Maintain strong knowledge of BS EN installation standards and identify scope changes promptly.

What You Bring
-Proficiency with MS Office applications including Excel, Visio, PowerPoint -City & Guilds 3668 Unit 3 Copper Datacoms (desirable) -Strong written and verbal communication skills -CSCS card -Demonstrable experience following BS EN installation standards -Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix environment -City & Guilds 3668 Fibre Level 2 (desirable) -Customer-focused with strong stakeholder engagement skills -Full UK clean driving licence and willingness to travel -Awareness of CDM regulations -Experience delivering telecoms survey and installation designs -Expert-level MS Word and Visio skills -Valid Baseline Personnel Security Standard Clearance -Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings -Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in documentation -Proactive problem-solver with strong stakeholder management skills -Strong analytical and reasoning capabilities -Flexible, reliable, and able to travel as required -Technically competent with proven telecoms survey and design experience -Confident working both on-site and in remote/office settings -Strong communicator with the ability to present findings clearly
