Overview

On-site electrical, automation & instrumentation engineer for design, commissioning, and supervision

Tasks

-Develops and/or provides input in the creation of checklists for verification of electrical systems, control systems, instrumentation, and automation platform. -Multidisciplinary interaction and interface management on the construction site -Conduct site contractor meetings and document with corresponding minutes of meetings -Prepare and present frequent reports on site construction works progress, milestones, risks and interfaces with other disciplines -Monitoring quality of the works performed by contractors and compliance with the national, international and site/client standards -Registering, addressing and follow-up on non-conformities and snag items

What You Bring

-Right to Work: Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom at the time of application. -Knowledge of construction “good practices” regarding field electrical and control system installations -Experience with SCADA, HMI, SQL databases, and integration with MES/ERP systems. -A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering (or equivalent fields such as Mechatronics or Control Systems). -At least 3 years of relevant experience in developing and commissioning process control applications. -Strong knowledge of DCS/PLC architecture, instrumentation, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC, Profibus, Ethernet IP). -Monitoring compliance and ensuring all safety standards are met – requires understanding of design standards for electrical systems, instrumentation, process control and automation platforms, understanding of site safety standards and regulations -Smart, kind, and open to communication team environment -Familiarity with applicable codes and standards (e.g., IEC 61131) and Process Safety Management (PSM) principles. -Experience in the Food & Beverage Industry. -Willingness to relocate within the UK for project assignments, primarily in the Northwest region. -Excellent communication skills and fluency in English. -Assist installation contractor resources in solving site related construction issues, requires “hands-on” approach, problem identification and solving skills
