Tasks

-Design and specify the HVAC, hot and cold water and above ground drainage systems for integration into the overall designs of multiple projects, acting as part of the larger design team. -Attend project meetings with clients and professional team. -Carry out condition surveys, dilapidation surveys or specific surveys -Prepare budgets for proposed works. -Assessing and commenting of mechanical feasibility of new projects -Help generate repeat business through continued care of clients

What You Bring

Experience Required You’ll work on a range of projects across a variety of sectors. Due to the nature of the role, site visits will be needed, most of the projects are in London and the Southeast, although occasional nationwide or European travel may be needed -Strong team-working skills -Software calculations/design using IES -Working knowledge of BREEAM -Minimum of 7 years’ experience of design in building services, post qualification completion -Degree in mechanical engineering or building services, qualified at least to HNC or HND level, with suitable design experience as alternative to degree -Working knowledge of British standards and building regulations -Strong verbal and written communication skills -Due to the nature of some projects, you must be a British national in order to obtain security clearance. -Input into Part L and BTEEAM calculations. -Current UK driving licence
