Senior Bridge Engineer

Tasks

-Establish and maintain client relationships; ensure client satisfaction; ensure client objectives are met -Work in cooperation with bridge staff to deliver PS&E contract documents on time and within the project budget for local agencies, federal agencies, and state DOTs -Prepare designs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and specifications -Perform bridge designs and load ratings using spreadsheets, finite element software and/or other bridge software -Assist in building a strong regional presence for the firm in transportation and structural engineering -Design, evaluate, and analyze highway bridges -Structures lead for projects, coordinating staff and design efforts

What You Bring

-12+ years experience -Design Build and Alternative Delivery experience a plus -Experience with the design of multiple bridge types in concrete and steel, wall systems, and minor structures -Registered PE, SE a plus -Solid understanding of transportation projects -Willingness to work on projects locally or in workshare with other offices, some travel required--<10% -Experience with AASHTO LRFD, AISC, ACI, and other North American design codes -B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Masters a plus -Established relationships with local clients (WSDOT/IDT) a plus -Experience working in bridge design team -Strong people skills and an ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
