The Role

Overview

Develop and support SCADA software for automated fuel handling systems

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Analyze system logs, alarms and alerts to diagnose faults and anomalies and implement corrective actions. -Report status updates to Operations Managers. -Successfully provide phone support to field technicians to resolve issues remotely. -Attend and contribute to program tier meetings. -Update online database worklogs to reflect all efforts. -Troubleshoot and resolve issues with installed Wonderware InSource applications. -Write scripts to automate tasks, perform data analysis and enhance system functionalities. -Conduct operator training on system usage as needed. -Monitor system performance, data integrity and communication health to identify and resolve issues. -Conduct backup operations to the extent of being able to fully restore the system on loss of data. -Troubleshoot server stack hardware errors, including hard drive failures.

What You Bring

-5+ years of experience in Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) development. -Active or previous security clearance. -Ability to pass a NACLC security background check -Current possession of a government CAC. -Proficiency in time management, including managing correspondence and priority scheduling. -5+ years of experience in support of Automated Fuel Handling Equipment. -Professional Software Developer Certification as issued by Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, such as CDSP/CSEP. -Experience with control system networking technologies and PC networking technologies. -Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) effectively for daily administrative tasks and project support. -BSE or related Software Engineering degree from an accredited university, or commensurate experience. -5+ years of experience in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Mathematics -Travel up to 50% in support of training and troubleshooting efforts. -6+ years of experience with complex software systems, to include: Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Support, Test and Evaluation, and Logistics support. -U.S. Citizenship -Working knowledge of industrial control software (specifically Wonderware in Archestra System Platform), server rack with RAID array architecture, SCADA system configuration, database management and HMI setup. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills
