Tasks

The Senior Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing detailed construction programmes using Primavera P6, ensuring progress is accurately recorded and reported while identifying risks, opportunities, and potential impacts. Your strong site-based experience will be vital in creating realistic, deliverable programmes that reflect the live conditions and challenges of a major infrastructure environment. -Analyze project timelines, identify potential delays, and propose mitigation strategies. -Create and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives. -Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting key project metrics and updates. -Collaborate with project managers, site teams, and stakeholders to track progress and address any scheduling issues. -Utilize planning software to manage and optimize project schedules. -Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and safety regulations. -Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensuring adherence to the schedule.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Senior Planning Engineer with a proven track record in complex civil engineering or infrastructure projects. You’ll bring excellent working knowledge of NEC contracts and be a confident, capable user of Primavera P6. Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. -Excellent working knowledge of NEC contracts -Proven track record delivering major infrastructure projects -Strong, hands-on experience with Primavera P6 -Strong site-based planning experience and the confidence to challenge, influence and advise project teams

Benefits

Salary: £65-80,000 + car allowance + package -Penson, Healthcare, Life Assurance, Private Medical, Annual Bonus -28 days annual leave + bank holidays + option to purchase 5 days extra days -Starting salary up to £80,000 per annum -Car allowance of £6,000 per annum or choice of a company car -Travel expenses
