The Role

Overview

Part-time maintenance officer handling repairs, cleaning, waste, and mowing.

Tasks

-Carrying out routine maintenance, basic plumbing, general repairs and building upkeep -Completing cleaning tasks and supporting village presentation -Operating outdoor equipment, with mowing required every Tuesday -Assisting with preventative maintenance and responding to urgent tasks as directed -Maintaining accurate maintenance records using our online system -Managing waste processes, including council bins, with a requirement to work public holiday Mondays on a rotating roster shared across staff

What You Bring

-Experience using maintenance or building-management software -Basic computer skills to log and update maintenance tasks -Communicating respectfully and patiently with older residents -Ability to lift/move up to 15kg -Patient, calm, and respectful interpersonal style -Experience in retirement living, property, facilities, or asset management -Current Driver's Licence -Relevant trade qualifications -General maintenance experience across basic plumbing, repairs, and routine upkeep -Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities -Cleaning and waste management experience -Experience with mowing and outdoor equipment
