Tasks
-Work with the project team and Regional Safety Director or Manager to ensure safety programs and protocols for the project meet and/or exceed client safety requirements. -Review, audit and file all required client safety documentation. -While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear; climb stairs and/or ladders, and walk on uneven ground. -Attend outside training for added designations and to keep up with changes in the industry. -Provide safety guidance in the planning stages for project. -Attend and contribute to company and project safety meetings. -Act as an internal consultant to all company business units with respect to safety. -Provide updated safety statistics for client upon request. -This role is responsible for supervision and mentoring of Safety Personnel who works on their project. -Coordinate, manage and/or conduct safety education programs for Clune Management, Supervision, and Employees. -Ensure Clune employee, trade partner, vistor and vendor compliance with Clune safety guidelines, project requirements, local, state, and national regulations. -Ensure all required client safety documentation has been provided to our trade partners.

What You Bring
-Desire and ability to work in team-focused environments, act as internal point of contact for Clune on safety-related items and external collaborator to develop industry best practices. -Strong planning skills to organize weekly and daily schedules that may involve a combination of meetings, walk-throughs, etc. -Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate and detailed records. -Construction – OSHA 30 hour certification, preferred. -Mentoring skills to foster the growth of fellow Clune employees’ safety knowledge -Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and health or related field; or equivalent combination of 5-10 years education and experience. -Strong communication and interpersonal skills that will be utilized to hold discussions with various members of Clune and/or trade-partner communities, ranging from field employees to executives. -Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety standards. -Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
