Tasks

-Guide and develop a high-performing team of Commercial Managers, nurturing talent and strengthening commercial capability across the business. -Play a key role in defining the future vision for our Asset Management businesses, including defining how those services should be procured and delivered, reducing costs and maximising revenue opportunities, delivering tangible incremental improvements to P&L performance. -Manage key joint venture relationships, ensuring SSE’s commercial interests are represented and governance standards maintained. -Partner with Finance, Energy Markets, and Operations to align P&L and balance sheet performance with strategic goals. -Oversee the development and execution of portfolio strategies, investment management plans and end-of-life optimisation to enhance asset performance. -Lead the commercial management of SSE Renewables’ operational non-flexible assets, ensuring every decision maximises value and drives long-term returns.
